Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add several Plating assistants to our team to contribute to our advancement. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Abrasive blasting parts per customer specifications Clean parts for the stress relief process Placing parts in the Stress and Embrittlement ovens per the customer specifications Conversion coat plated parts per customer requirements Polishing non-plated surfaces on finished parts Stripping non-conforming parts per customer specification Count parts Fill out paperwork correctly for work done Move parts physically and in the ERP system to other locations Help platers as needed To meet the needs of our customers and colleagues, you are expected to be at your desk/station and ready to work at your designated start time. Competencies Ability to read and understand procedures and job travelers in English Ability to solve practical process or procedural problems/issues Detail oriented and have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced processing environment Physical Demands Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods Lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
