Job Summary As an Overnight Warehouse Associate at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders within our fulfillment center. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment : Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently. Inventory Management : Maintain stock levels and organize products to ensure easy retrieval and proper storage. Quality Control : Inspect and verify items for accuracy, defects, or damage, ensuring a high level of quality. Safety Protocols : Adhere to all safety standards and procedures to prevent workplace injuries and maintain a safe environment. Machine Operation : Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse tools safely and effectively. Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other team members to meet productivity goals and deliver excellent customer service. Adaptability : Adapt to changes in workflow, priorities, and processes in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy. Good communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate warehouse management systems. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Flexible and open to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience Previous experience in warehouse or logistics roles is preferred but not required. Experience working in a physically demanding job or an environment with tight deadlines is a plus. Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse setting is advantageous. Working Hours Full-time overnight shift (night shift flexibility required). Typical working hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Friday, with some weekends depending on demand. Flexibility in working hours may be required during peak seasons or high-demand periods.
