PPI apparel is looking for a trend-focused intimates designer to join our team! The ideal candidate is excited about juniors trend, has a background in intimates, and understands the off-price market. We are looking for someone to drive business through competitive market analysis by identifying white space. Your aim is to increase presence in juniors through shopping and research translated into appropriate, compelling products. Trend and designs will be presented on a monthly cadence to buyers to allow quick turnarounds of concepts into line adoption. This position reports directly into VP Design, Intimates.
\n \nThe Designer will be responsible for:
\n \n- Continuous market research with store visits and reporting- both competition and inspiration
\n- Identifying and translating trends in print, color, fabric, silhouette, trim into commercial designs for ladies juniors off-price market
\n- Monthly capsule collections developed and presented along with relevant trend to buyers
\n- Ensuring feedback is incorporated to align with buyers’ needs
\n- Working autonomously on creative product development while leveraging our sourcing and ensuring cost effective designs
\n- CAD and print artwork for designs (will be able to utilize our robust print library)
\n- Neatness and organization both digitally and in physical presentations.
\n- Utilizing PLM software for product development, ensuring clear and accurate tech packs
\n- Smooth hand off from design to Product Development, Technical Design, and Production
\n- Attend fittings to maintain design intentions, as well as review factory submits with cross functional partners
\n \nRequirements:
\n \n- Fashion Design or related degree
\n- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
\n- Strong CAD ability including colored flats and technical sketches
\n- Understanding of developing & coloring print artwork
\n- PLM or similar program experience
\n- 6+ years industry experience
\n- Authorization to work in the US
\n- Experience in AI a plus
\n- Background in Intimates, Juniors, and/ or Off-Price a plus
\n \nHybrid Schedule:

\nFridays-Remote
